Woot! DPR announces summer season plans

The Department of Parks and Recreation will kick off summer Saturday, May 24 at Noon.  All outdoor aquatic facilities―18 outdoor pools, four children's pools and 19 spray parks―will be open Memorial Day weekend―Saturday, Sunday and Monday from Noon - 6:00 pm 10:00 am - 7:00 pm for spray parks).

District residents with acceptable proof of residency can swim free of charge at all DPR pools; non-District residents must pay a fee.

Between May 31 and June 22, outdoor aquatic facilities will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from Noon - 6:00 pm.  Outdoor pools and spray parks open during the week Monday, June 23.  All outdoor pools are open six days a week, and are closed one day for cleaning and maintenance. Spray parks will operate seven days a week.
